How to setup email on Outlook 2007

Open Outlook.Select  ---->> Account Settings...from the Tools --->>menu.

On the E-mail tab, clickNew.

PilihNew pada tab E-mail

Select "Manuallyconfigureserversettings oradditional servertypes

" and click Next >. Beritanda centang pada Manuallyconfigure server settings or

additional server types" laluklikNext

Select Internet E-mail and click Next >. PilihInternet E-mail laluklikNext

Enterthe following information forE-mailAccounts. Masukkan data-data sesuai account email Anda.

YourName: Enter the name you wish recipients to see when they receive your message (Masukkan namaAnda).

EmailAddress: Your email address (AlamatemailAnda)

AccountType: POP3

Incoming mail server: pop.contoh.net.id

Outgoing mail server(SMTP): smtps.contoh.net.id

UserName: Enter your full e-mail address (masukkan alamat email lengkap)

Password: If you wish for Outlook to save your password, check the box labeled Remember Password and enter your password in the text field. (Masukkan password Anda,jika Anda ingin password Anda di save, klik pada Remember Password)

Click MoreSettings... (Klik More Settings...)

Clickon the Outgoing Server tab, and check the boxlabeled Myoutgoing server(SMTP) requires authentication. Then choose toUse same settings as myincoming mail server

Klik pada OutgoingServerdan beri tanda centang pada My outgoingserver (SMTP) requires authentication lalu pilih Use the same settings as my comingmailserver.

Click on the Advanced tab.

Under Incoming Server(POP3), the port number should be set to110.

Under Outgoing Server(SMTP), the port number should be set to  465

If this configuration doesn't work, change the port to 587 and the SSL into TLS

Klik pada tabAdvanced dan masukkan data-data seperti dibawah. Jika pada OutgoingServer (SMTP) port 465 tidak berjalan,silahkan rubah menjadi port587 dengan Encrypted Connection TLS.

Clik OK > Next >Finish

Klik pada OK > Next> Finish
